United Way of Greater Rochester's Women's Leadership Council (WLC) is made up of more than 1,700 of Rochester's most inspiring, proactive female leaders who are dedicated to making a positive local impact with an annual gift of $1,000 or more.
WLC members participate in purposeful giving, and enjoy networking opportunities with other women who are making an extraordinary commitment to their community.

Women's Leadership Council 2017 Challenge

Congratulations to Nannette Nocon, Women's Leadership Council member and private wealth adviser for Nocon & Associates, Ameriprise Financial Services Inc., who was honored with the 31st annual Athena Award at the annual Athena Awards, presented by the Women's Council of the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce in January.

Congratulations to Melisza Campos, Circulo Latino and Women’s Leadership Council member, who received the Young Professional honor at the annual Athena Awards. The Athena Young Professional Award recognizes emerging leaders who demonstrate excellence, creativity and initiative in their business or profession. Recipients also contribute time and energy to improve the quality of life of others in the community while serving as a role model for young women both personally and professionally.
